Profile

Jaco van Niekerk obtained his Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree at Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) in 2008. He started his career as a Project Engineer manufacturing commercial diving systems predominantly for clients in the oil and gas industry. During this time, he also completed his BTech part time in Project Management. He then moved to Gauteng to work for one of the largest FMCG manufacturers globally.
In 2014 he received an opportunity to move to Switzerland, based at an international project office in Konolfingen where he supported projects in Switzerland, Ireland and Indonesia. During this time, he completed his Government Certificate of Competency (GCC: Mechanical, Factories) and received his accreditation as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute. When he returned he was appointed as a Factory Engineering Manager at an Infant Nutrition factory for the same organization. During this time Jaco completed his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at the Gordon Institute of Business Science.
